Blank mode opens the studio without a prompt, template, or imposed structure. It is the raw Free Association surface: one cloud-saved document, the cursor, and the tools waiting quietly around the edge.

what changes
the app gives you a page without deciding what the page is for.
Blank mode is for drafts that should not begin as forms. It keeps the full editor nearby - themes, font controls, search, export, focus, typewriter mode, proofread, autosave - but the document itself starts empty.
- New blank documents are titled Untitled until you rename them.
- No scaffold is inserted into the editor, so fragments and long drafts begin the same way.
- The document can later use focus, typewriter, proofread, export, and theme controls.
best for
free writing, scenes, poems, essays, messy project starts, and any thought that would get smaller if the app asked too many questions first.
